Sarawak-Malaysia My Second Home (S-MM2H) Programme is an initiative to attract foreigners worldwide to stay long-term in Malaysia with a 10-year renewable Social Visit Pass.

Who can apply?

S-MM2H is open to citizens of all countries* (except Israel)

30-49 YEAR OLDS

**Subject to the Law of Malaysia or rules and regulations by any governmental bodies related to this programme.

40-49 YEAR OLDS

With investment in real estate specifically for residential purpose with a total amount of at least RM600,000.00.

50 YEAR OLD & ABOVE
Applicants must be 50 years old and above, while spouse (if any) has no age limit.

Incentives & Benefits

CHILDREN’S EDUCATION

Applicants are allowed to bring their children who are under 21 years old and not married as their dependents under MM2H programme. Children who intend to continue their schooling in Sarawak are required to apply for a Student Pass and should be insured throughout their stay under this programme. Applications for permission to study in Sarawak MUST submit the following documents for consideration:

An approved participant will be bound by the policies, systems and regulations of taxes of this country. However, tax exemption is given to pension remitted into Malaysia, with requirements stated below.
EMPLOYING A DOMESTIC HELPER

An approved participant is allowed to apply for a domestic helper or maid from countries which are permitted subject to the prevailing guidelines by Immigration of Department of Malaysia.

An approved participant is allowed to purchase a residential house in Sarawak at a minimum price of RM 600,000.00 per unit for Kuching and RM 500,00.00 per unit for other divisions. The purchase of house is exempted from Foreign Investment Committee (FIC)’s approval.
